Ramadhan, Parking, Salah, & Cleanliness Announcement

Assalamu Alaikum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh,

Dear Community Members,

As we welcome the blessed month of Ramadhan, we kindly ask for your cooperation to ensure a smooth and organized experience for everyone attending the masjid, in sha Allaah.

Parking Guidelines:
• Please reserve parking spots inside the lot for families and the elderly as much as possible.
• Carpooling is highly encouraged to reduce congestion.
• Follow the directions of the parking volunteers at all times.
• Young, single brothers should park outside whenever possible.
• If you plan to leave early before the end of Taraweeh, please park outside to avoid disturbing others.
• Do not block neighbors’ driveways or park illegally—let’s maintain good relations with our neighbors.

Maintaining good relationships with our neighbors is an important part of our faith and a great way to represent Islam in a positive light. Our actions speak louder than words, and being respectful, kind, and considerate to those around us can be a powerful form of da’wah (invitation to Islam).

Children & Teens During Salah:
• All children and teens must be inside the masjid during salah.
• Parents must keep their children beside them throughout the prayer.
• If a child cannot remain inside respectfully, please consider leaving them at home to maintain the serenity of prayer.

Cleanliness & Food Etiquette:
• Brothers and Sisters, please clean up after yourselves—dispose of empty plates, cups and trash properly.
• Avoid food waste—take only what you need and be mindful of others.
• Do not waste water bottles—if you open a bottle, please finish it rather than leaving it unfinished, or take your remainder home.
• Let’s keep the masjid clean and welcoming for everyone.
• Mothers and Fathers are expected to clean up after their children and to accompany their young children to the bathroom.

Phone Etiquette:
• Please turn off or silence your phones before entering the prayer area to maintain focus and respect during salah.

We intend to have volunteers to help enforce the above. Upon request, please kindly cooperate with them.

Your cooperation ensures a smooth, peaceful, and blessed Ramadhan for the entire community, in sha Allaah. May Allaah bless you, accept your worship, and make us all shining examples of Islam in our community.

Jazakum Allaahu Khairan,

Masjid Al-Farooq Administration
